Sacramental Program

As defined by the Brisbane Archdiocese, the Sacramental Program is a three-year program, and each child may prepare and receive one sacrament per year.

Essentially, this program is a partnership in which families and the Parish community work together in the preparation and celebration of the Sacraments of Confirmation, Eucharist and Reconciliation. Children in this context can learn what it is to be a Catholic.

Every year we will celebrate three Sacraments in our Parish:

Reconciliation (for children in Grade 5 and above)
Confirmation (for children in Grade 3 and above)
First Holy Communion (for children in Grade 4 and above)

In the month preceding enrolment, you will be invited to nominate your child or children for the appropriate sacrament.
